Post Production Diary - 30 Weeks To Go
The sound department is in full swing with 30 weeks to go before the
premiere of King Kong. Crews are scouring Wellington to capture genuine
sounds of everything under the sun. Crews are on boats, in the air (so to
speak) and down in the mud (literally) getting thousands of sounds for the
FX coordinators to use when mixing the film together...take a look!

King Kong E3 Gameplay Demo Description!
charles writes: I watched their little video game presentation today and it
was surprisingly good. Games based on films are as a rule, almost always
terrifyingly awful. (and films based on games follow this trend too, not
surprisingly) Well when you enter their little theatre, the guy says that
it's "TOP SECRET" and he actually means it too. I've seen a few of these
video game presentations before over the years and never has it been this
strict.

King Kong Booth at E3!
It is dark and fuzzy..however IGN has again nabbed the fist pic of
Universal's King Kong booth at the E3 Gaming Convention. Built like a
structure from Skull Island, the booth sports a 'Peter Jackson's KING KONG'
sign incorporated into the design. Take a look!

King Kong Game Spy Report from E3!
Kongspy "Sweetlips" field reports through "Atomicmutant" on the King Kong
presentation at E3. This is literally minutes old, a cell phone report from
the show floor. King Kong has a large booth with a video presentation
inside. Security is extremely tight, so we were unable to get any video from
inside the booth. Pictures of the outside should be coming later today.
!!Spoilers!!

KONG HISTORY: King Kong is back. In 2005, writer/director Peter Jackson, the
man responsible for "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy, will direct a new,
large-scale remake featuring a monstrous computer generated ape to be
created by Jackson's special effects company, WETA Digital. However, Kong's
origins lay long ago, towards the beginning of the last century in fact.
What follows is a history of the great ape's adventures, on both the large
and small screen. This history's films and TV series are the one's that were
widely released.
