Post Production Diary - 19 Weeks To Go
Pick Ups continue and the whole gang is shooting Skull Island scenes inside
one of the Wellywood studios. PJ is in a jovial mood and scoots around the
set like a kid in a candy shop. We get an insiders view of the Script
Supervisor's job, and the details that the continuity teams need to keep at
hand when shooting the same scenes months apart. Jack Black and Andy Serkis
take it upon themselves to work on a wardrobe malfunction. And we get to see
more shots of Adrien Brody in his cage..or THE cage..from now on known as
the Brody Box.

PJ King Kong Game Q&A
You'd be hard pressed to find a film that's more anticipated this winter
than Peter Jackson's upcoming retelling of King Kong. The tragic love story
between an enormous ape from a prehistoric island and the actress he falls
for (eventually in the literal sense) has been a cinematic classic since it
debuted in 1933. Jackson's film aims to offer a new take on the story that
stays true to its roots while expanding on the original film's scope. The
project is a labor of love for the Academy Award-winning filmmaker, who
cites the original film as one of the early inspirations for his moviemaking
career.

Double Does of Kong Coming
Movie director Peter Jackson has gone bananas. Not only is he hard at work
finishing the hotly anticipated remake of the 1933 classic "King Kong," he's
also lending a helping hand to the upcoming original film's DVD set. On Nov.
22 - three weeks before Jackson's $150 million "Kong," starring Jack Black
and Naomi Watts, hits screens - Warner Home Video will release two versions
of Merian C. Cooper's original black-and-white action adventure for the
first time ever on DVD.

KONG HISTORY: King Kong is back. In 2005, writer/director Peter Jackson, the
man responsible for "The Lord of the Rings" Trilogy, will direct a new,
large-scale remake featuring a monstrous computer generated ape to be
created by Jackson's special effects company, WETA Digital. However, Kong's
origins lay long ago, towards the beginning of the last century in fact.
What follows is a history of the great ape's adventures, on both the large
and small screen. This history's films and TV series are the one's that were
widely released.
