News for Sep. 05, 2006 Universal Delivers Marquee HD-DVDs to Combat Playstation 3 Release 9/05/06, 7:16 pm EST - Xoanon Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced 'King Kong,' 'The Hulk' and 'Waterworld' will released on HD-DVD November 14, three days before Sony's Playstation 3 gaming console hits stores with an embedded Blu-ray Disc player. 'King Kong' will carry a higher SRP of $39.98, despite no mention it is a Combo Format disc, and be presented in widescreen 2.35:1 1080p and Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 audio.
