From Contactmusic.com: Actress JESSICA LANGE, who starred as the damsel in distress in the 1976 remake of KING KONG, insists she has no desire to see the latest version of the classic ape movie. The latest incarnation of the film was released last year (05) by Oscar-winning director PETER JACKSON and starred NAOMI WATTS in the role once filled by Lange. She tells the New York Daily News, "It just doesn't interest me."
