Keeping the big ape film in the family

Peter Jackson, director of Universal's new King Kong (now in theaters), met with the big ape's original damsel in distress, Fay Wray, star of the 1933 RKO original, before he began directing Naomi Watts as his new Ann Darrow. Though Wray died last year at 96, one of her three children, Victoria Riskin, 59, an L.A.-based producer, writer and human rights activist, attended the new film's recent New York premiere. She spoke to USA TODAY about the memories the new film evoked. [More]
