Kong tipped to top Rings

King Kong is predicted to topple Peter Jackson's The Fellowship of the Ring as the biggest grossing film so far at the New Zealand box office. The Fellowship of the Ring, released in 2001, made $14.5 million. After a sneak preview of King Kong, Motion Picture Distributors Association executive director Bill Hood said he was so impressed he was confident Jackson would beat his own record. [More]
