NY set to cast critical eye over Kong

NEW YORK: King Kong is a fantasy epic set in the metropolis of New York - but the movie was made in New Zealand. The classic 1933 movie holds a special place in New Yorkers' hearts, and they will be looking at Peter Jackson's 2005 film with critical eyes when it screens for the first time in the Big Apple this weekend. Jackson and his team won a staggering 11 Oscars for The Return of the King, the third instalment of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
