Universal, Coke team for king-sized 'Kong' deal

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Universal Pictures is launching its largest ever in-theater concession program Friday, with more than 6 million "King Kong" Coca-Cola cups and nearly 2 million "Kong" popcorn bags and tubs being offered in more than a dozen major U.S. theater chains. The promotion is the latest addition to an already extensive promotional program that includes brands such as Volkswagen, Kellogg's, Toshiba, Chase, Nestle, Burger King and the City of New York.
