Abby Letteri has attended five premieres and three Oscar ceremonies but admits she is nervous about walking down the red carpet at the New York premiere of King Kong. "You get butterflies in your stomach no matter what because it is exciting," said Mrs Letteri, wife of Oscar-winning special-effects whiz Joe Letteri. She will be wearing a 1930s-inspired steely powder-blue silk gown, designed by Wellington's Angeline Harrington, at the premiere on December 5. "It definitely has a retro feel.
