Skull Island Shooting: Days 2 & 3 Gandalf writes: After brief rain on Wednesday for the start of shooting, the cast & crew have been blessed with fine weather yesterday and today (Fri 22). Since my photos two days ago, the crew have erected large screens around the portion of the set with the skeleton statue to continue filming away from public view (as you'll see in the first photo). Work has continued on the bank near the fixed blue screen, which is now covered in moss and vines and looking very realistic. The last two photos are a little different and show the set in relation to its local surroundings. Across the road, you can see the catering marquee and a few of the caravans for cast & crew. The final shot from the beach shows the proximity of the set and support operation to the sea and neighboring houses (everything left of the house with the red roof is for the movie).
