Gandalf writes: With shooting now imminent, finishing touches are being applied to the set before the cameras roll. Today, the rocky terrain in front of the blue screen was getting more paint applied, as vegetation was being "planted" on the large section of wall opposite. A couple of the photos today show more detail including the skull-like ruins at the base of the wall mentioned in the newspaper this morning. A statue appears in another section of the set, and the ground in front of the long blue screen was also getting some attention this afternoon. I must say the transformation of the set has been impressive to watch.
