"Please leave my email anonymous as I have some very exciting news to report. I was in New Line's NY offices to discuss upcoming projects when I clearly saw something very intriguing on a year planner. 'The Hobbit' was clearly marked on what looked like July 2007. I couldn't exactly take a moment to investigate the calendar with my audience in the room, but it definitely said 'The Hobbit'. Lets hope this is a PJ project!"

JACKSON LANDS LI/CHAN FILM?
8/16/06, 10:31 pm EST - Xoanon
Rumors about
Peter Jackson directing Jakie Chan and Jet Li in a new movie are absolutely untrue. Sources close to the Jackson camp confirmed this earlier today. According to various websites Jackson has been signed to direct an untitled new film, which would star Li as the villain, and Chan as the hero.Chan recently spoke about the ambitious, high-action film, stating it "will be more American-style. It will be more suited to foreign audiences than Chinese audiences". Again, all of this is
not true
