Production Diary: Day 129

Andy Serkis is pissed...he's mad as hell and is NOT going to take it anymore...he's out for blood. out for revenge..out for..the DVD crew! Since production began in September the DVD crew (the same dudes and dudettes that make these Production Diaries) have been shooting everything - and I do mean EVERYTHING to do with the production, and Andy has had it. In a clandestine Production Diary, he takes his camera and shoots the DVD crew...gets into their faces, and stirs up trouble for everyone! I've never heard more *beeps* or seen more fuzz on a PD in my life! Take a look! [QT6 240x132px 6Mb] [QT4 320x176px 12Mb] [QT6 480x264px 15Mb] [Bit Torrents!]

Eric makes a monkey out of Kong show

4/05/05, 9:08 pm EST - Xoanon

A retired Kapiti projectionist is not waiting till December for all the glitz, red carpets and excitement when Peter Jackson's King Kong is released. Eric Clarke is to screen the original 1933 King Kong at his specially upgraded 28-seat home movie theatre. Mr Clarke, who received a Queen's Service Medal in 1997 for donating thousands of dollars to charity during the past 20 years from film shows at his Paraparaumu home, installed a DVD video projector this week as a standby before the privately booked showing of the film from his extensive classic movie collection. New York Set Demolished

4/05/05, 10:42 am EST - Xoanon

New York Set Demolished Gandalf writes: After seeing demolition of the New York set beginning in PD120, I thought you might like a quick update on progress there. As you'll see in these photos, the camera towers and lighting structures have been removed as have the large green screens supported by stacks of shipping containers at either end of the set. Some buildings are already gone, while most of the remaining ones have lost their facades and window dressings with others being gutted for the walls to be dismantled. The tram tracks also appear to have gone and trucks and diggers were busy when I visited today (5 April). [More]

Oh Yeah...APRIL FOOLS!

4/04/05, 12:03 pm EST - Xoanon

Last week we posted a story about the SS Venture sinking off the coast of Wellington due to rust. This story is obviously an April Fool's prank on our part. We designed a little section on KIKN to look like Stuff.co.nz and even found a photo (after a little photoshopping) of a sinking ship.

Now, reports about another April Fool's prank on the site, some elaborate scheme involving the entire cast and crew of King Kong, we don't know anything about that...PJ wouldn't be fooling with us...would he?
