From Adam: I have just picked up the latest edition of Australian / New Zealand 'White Dwarf'. The latest edition has 36 pages of information for the release of the new Games Workshop Lord of the Rings desktop game. (If anyone could get some scans from this and send it my way, that would be great.)

Games-Workshop updated its site today with an interview with their sculptors Alan Perry and Michael Perry. Alan Perry and Michael Perry are two of Games Workshop's most respected and long serving sculptors. Recently, they have worked on many of The Lord Of The Rings miniatures, including the original mockup models for New Line Cinema, the Ringwraiths, the Orcs, and the mysterious Balrog. [More]

Decipher Seeks LOTR Product Champion Volunteers

As many of you may know Decipher currently has more than 220 Product Champion volunteers for The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game, and that number is rising by the week! These volunteers have been selectively chosen to help Decipher promote The Lord of the Rings TCG. Decipher Product Champions help by running demonstrations, tournaments, and special events at local stores, conventions, and other venues where Orcs & Hobbits are welcome! [More]

Tookish here. The good folks at Games Workshop have sent us a taste of the future! As we’ve reported, their soon-to-be-released first wave of miniatures are incredible, with character and costume details that are not only true to the Jackson LotR, but in their own right, outstanding. I spent some time reading the instruction manual that accompanies the first set of miniatures, which included dozens of Moria orcs, Elf warriors, and the Fellowship. [More]

"I received my free Games Workshop 2001 Citadel Miniatures Holiday Catalog today and it contained some cool FOTR info. I have sent along some scans of the catalog, which include release dates and pricing. From the release dates it sure looks like they don't want us seeing too much too soon, but the miniatures shown look very good.
