Today in Norfolk there were 95 finalists in the Lord of the Rings TCG World Championship who concluded their second day of competition. At the end, only sixteen were left. Games Workshop Expands!

NF writes: I'm not sure if this has been on the site yet, but in the last white dwarf in austrlia that was just released, Alessio Cavatore (who helped with the LOTR games) is talking about what is coming up for the games next. Apparantly they now have the rights to use material from the books, not just the movies, so a hobbit game is probably possible, as well as a game about Balin and the other dwarfs trying to reclaim moria. He also talks about new characters, and hinted at Tom Bombadil being introduced to the game.

I've been playing it a little bit and it actually has scenes from the movies in it- both Fellowship of the Ring AND The Two Towers- the ones from the Two Towers are ones that I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE...(highlight to read!) !Spoilers!
